What are micro-deposits?

Micro-deposits are small test deposits sent to your bank account to confirm that your Earnnest account is connected to the correct bank account. They usually appear as two separate deposits for small amounts (often under $1.00 each).

What to expect

1. You enter your escrow or funding source account details in Earnnest
Once submitted, micro-deposits are initiated.

2. Micro-deposits are sent to your bank

  • Timing: typically 1–2 business days
  • Look for deposits labeled from Earnnest in your bank activity

3. You receive an email from Earnnest
This email lets you know the micro-deposits are ready to be confirmed.

How to confirm your micro-deposits

  1. Log in to your bank account
  2. Locate the micro-deposit amounts
  3. Log in to your Earnnest organization account
  4. Navigate to Verify your escrow account or funding source
  5. Enter the amounts exactly as they appear
  6. Submit to complete verification

Important tips (this prevents delays)

  • Do not reject or return the deposits
  • Ensure your bank allows ACH inbound for your escrow account

Rejecting or blocking the deposits can delay or prevent verification.
