Jen Hubbell & Associates works out of Keller Williams Drive in Upstate South Carolina as well as Keller Williams Mountain Partners in Western North Carolina. Jen and her team generally close between 75 and 100 deals each year. The team’s mission is to be purposeful, powerful, and profitable. Systems are in place to make every transaction a seamless experience. 

Jen quickly developed systems and models for her team to make sure each transaction progressed smoothly for her buyers. “My clients aren’t even aware these systems are in place,” Jen explained. Clients just know, “they can get in touch any time they need the team – we are highly responsive.” On the back end, systems are in place to smooth every transaction. Jen feels this is why, “clients recommend the team over and over.”

The Hubbell team was an early adopter of digital payments using Earnnest. When Jen first became a real estate agent, she conducted her initial transactions with checks but the lack of privacy, “didn’t make sense”. Her duty to maintain the privacy of each party in her transaction was compromised by the simple fact that checks have private information printed clearly for all to see. Jen quickly discovered Earnnest and appreciated the privacy and increased security of using digital payments. “Earnnest helps me maintain my responsibility to clients. The buyer and seller never see each other’s private information.” 

In addition, Hubbell values Earnnest’s track record of zero instances of fraud. “I want to be super careful about ever getting myself into a situation where fraud could be an issue,” Hubbell explained.

“It’s critical that we protect our clients as well as we know how.”

For Jen, that means using secure digital payments – not checks or wires. She explains it to clients, “like paying your power bill online.” Jen believes using Earnnest to complete transactions, “is the best money homebuyers will pay … compared to the amount of time and security risk they’re taking on with a check or wire.”

Jen is such an advocate of digital payments, that she requires her key escrow holders to accept money digitally using Earnnest. Speaking to her settlement partners she said, “Not only are you going to make my life easier and my clients’ lives easier, but you are going to attract so many more agents to your law firm for real estate closings because you’re making their lives better.” From there it was easy to move forward and Jen describes the choice as, “a no brainer” for her attorney. “He adopted it immediately.”
