The Matthews Group gets buyers into their dream homes – even from a distance – with digital earnest money payments.

Darryl Matthews leads The Matthews Group with an emphasis on educating buyers. Many of the team’s clients are first-time homebuyers who benefit from this customized approach. The team, based out of Keller Williams Grand Rapids East, has seen increased movement to West Michigan over the last year. Along with the reasonable price point of homes, the desirability of the area makes this an attractive market. “A lot of folks want to move to West Michigan from California or Chicago,” Matthews shared. As he watched his transaction count tick steadily upward, Matthews was ready for resources to ease these out-of-state transitions for his clients.

But using Earnnest is, “super simple to send a text or an email.” Plus, Darryl uses Earnnest to give his buyers an edge over the competition in a multiple offer situation. “We are able to move quickly, … having the earnest money as soon as we have an accepted offer – or beforehand to show the listing agent that this puts us above other offers in multiple offer situations.”
